You can use the hummus as a dip for carrots, celery or other vegetables as a healthy snack in between or you can put it on your favourite bread or cracker…
My favourite combination is beet root hummus on my vegan glutenfree bread topped with avocado, salt, and a squeeze of lemon juice. Watch out, it’s addictive!
3 beet roots, cooked and peeled
3 tbsp Tahini
400g Chickpeas (canned)
3 garlic gloves
½ -1 lemon (juice)
Put all the ingredients into a food processor and blend until everything is mixed well.
Add salt, pepper and lemon juice to taste.
